Checks the GSTIN structure before any live request runs.
Returns taxpayer information in one guided verification flow.
Useful for onboarding, invoice review, and compliance checks.
What Is GSTIN?
GSTIN stands for Goods and Services Tax Identification Number. It is a 15-character identifier used to represent a GST-registered business in invoices, vendor records, tax workflows, and compliance review.
A fixed format used for identity and validation.
The middle portion is connected to the taxpayer PAN.
Used across billing, onboarding, and GST compliance records.
Why Verify GST Number?
Catch incorrect GSTINs before they enter invoices or ERP records.
Confirm whether the registration is active before use.
Compare the GST record with vendor or invoice details.
Useful for CA, finance, procurement, and compliance workflows.
How To Use
Type the 15-character GST number into the search field in the hero section.
Click Verify GSTIN after the number passes local format and checksum validation.
Check the returned status, name, address, jurisdiction, and nature of business.
Use the validated GST details in onboarding, billing, or compliance workflows.
Features
Instantly reviews whether the number follows the correct 15-character structure.
Prevents unnecessary live lookups by validating the GSTIN mathematically first.
Shows the PAN segment and extracts the GST registration state code automatically.
Returns registration details, status, address, and jurisdiction when available.
Keeps the output focused on the fields finance and CA teams actually review.
Runs directly in the page for quick internal checks and repeat verification work.
GSTIN Format
Read the GSTIN from left to right. Each part has a specific meaning in the registration number.
The first two characters show the registration state. Here, 27 means Maharashtra.
The next ten characters match the PAN of the registered business or person.
This character differentiates registrations held under the same PAN.
This is usually Z in the standard GSTIN structure.
The last character is a calculated checksum used to validate the GSTIN.
